Last year around this time it was about time to look into other bloodlines for the House-Barrett kennel.

After a research of a few months our friend Andreas found a very nice young strong build female with a lot of play-drive. In fact an extreme play-drive. No wonder, because her Dad is known to perform one of the best schutzhund work on the world champion show of the shorthair in 2007. Her Dad coming out of the show line and being so extreme good in schutzhund work, he did remind us of our beloved "Gustl von der Köhlertanne", which died last year (seniorpage) He performed the same schutzhund work. Of course we were interested in little "Angie" (Pedigree name: Olympia).

Since August of last year she has been with us and developed into a beautiful young female. Just a few weeks ago Hundemama took her to an experienced Vet and had her x-rayed for ED and HD and these pictures were send to a special Vet clinic to be rated. Three days ago the results came back with HD-normal and ED-normal. Of course Hundemama is very happy about these results. Now the time for training has come. Since Hundemama has been very busy with raising puppies in the past and in the next few months and also with her two puppies, she kept out of the recent litters, her friend Selina (owner of Honey) has offered to help with training. Angie will be trained by her in obedience training and then after passing the BH trial this fall/winter Hundemama will take over and work her in schutzhund and tracking, so she will be able to pass her SchH 1 next year. If everything goes well, she will be taken in front of the breeding board next spring and will have her first litter in 2010. (sire Tyson or Buddy).

From time to time we will update this page and inform all the visitors about her development.
