House-Barrett and House-Jack hiking tour on 10th of July 2010

Tyson and Dagmar are inviting everybody for our annual hiking trail on 10th of July 2010 to happen at Neustadt an der Weinstraße

As we did in years before, House-Barrett T-Shirts can be ordered through us. Please send us an email. Let us know the size and the quantity of T-Shirts you like to have. Further below are an example of the T-Shirts.

On the back of each T-Shirt we put on "House-Barrett" with a Logo of a Longhair GSD and also the name of your dog. The front of the T-Shirt can be blank or if wished, comes with the name of the owner or the name of the home city of the dog`s owner.

The price for one T-Shirt with print front and back plus schipping fee to the USA and Canada is 50 Dollars, a T-Shirt with only prints on the back is 40 Dollars. The amount can be send in a US postal money-order.

The hiking tour will take place on

10th of July 2010 where we will meet at 8.00 AM at Rheinstraße 92,
68649 Groß-Rohrheim, Germany

Neustadt an der Weinstrasse

We will drive, in a convoy to Neustadt, where we will begin the hike.
The hike will be approximately 14 miles long. First 8 miles will be walked in the morning and the second 6 miles in the afternoon.
In between we take a lunch break at a very beautiful place in the woods.

Our lunch break will be at the gasthouse called "Forst Silbertal" at 12.30 PM. Families who are not able to walk the whole 14 miles can come to this point with the car, meet us there and continue the second part of this hike after lunch.

Around 5 PM we will reach our destination which was also the starting point.

If necessary, we will from here dispatch those to pick up the cars left at the mid-day point.

At the restaurant Waldschenke we will have dinner around 6.00 PM. If the weather is nice, we are able to sit outside and again enjoy the beautiful view of Pfalz. If it is raining we will have dinner inside the restaurant. Of course the dogs are allowed to be with us while we are having dinner.

Please let us know by the 04th of July with how many people you like to join us on this hike. Like each year we hope, that many families will come and spend a wonderful day together with our four legged fury friends.

Some of you might not be able to join us this year, but maybe like to plan a visit to Germany next year. Of course this hiking trip can be combined with a vacation here in Germany. To see more of Germany and get to know its culture should be very interesting for families out of the States and other countries.

For these families Hundemama "Dagmar" will offer some free training sessions. To show how to start basic training in obedience and schutzhund.
