Stay in contact with the new owner
After the puppy has been with his new owner a few days,
we usually get in contact with him or her and ask, how the puppy settled in the new
home and if any questions or problems did arise. Most of the time a few weeks later
the new owner gets in contact with us letting us know, how the puppy developed so far.
If we do not live too far away from each other we usually arrange visits.
To bring up a litter is very hard work for the dam and the breeder. Every breeder,
who breeds dogs for a hobby and takes time with the puppies, does know what I am talking
about. A lot of good friendships have developed. The many letters and calls I did and
do receive from happy owners give me the strength and inspiration to raise another
litter at a later time.
