28th of June 2010 The time has come, our O-puppies are introducing themselves
27th of June 2010 Today we have not so good news to announce. A few days ago we noticed, that Dorcas did not take care of one male anymore as she did for the rest of her puppies. Out of experience we knew, that this behavior means, that something must have been wrong with this one puppy. We were right, because two days ago early in the morning we found the one male puppy dead in the basket. Up till now we do not know, why this happened, but we know, that we can trust the dog`s instinct, that there must have been something wrong with this puppy. We are very sorry for the family, who was waiting for this puppy. But yet we believe, that we should trust nature and should not try to fight it.
The rest of the family is doing great. The puppies develop fine as you can see on our new p-page, which we just had opened

17th of April 2010 We have great news to announce. Today "Buddy vom Kuckucksland" received the SchH 3 title, and "Yanka vom Haus Barrett" received the SchH 1 title. Congratulations to both of them! Not only did they pass, our young female "Babe vom Haus Dexel" (calling name Bacira) passed the obedience title. Selina my friend prepared her for this trial. This was a very successful day for "House-Barrett"-dogs
We will open our N-litter-page in the next two days. Sorry it took a few days longer then usual, but Hundemama was very busy with the preparation of her two dogs for these two schutzhund trials. Thank you for your understanding

11th of April 2010 Another update on Nora. The birth has started. Nora/Tyson puppies are on their way.
8th of April 2010 Nora is okay. There is nothing to worry about. Because she did not take last fall, we had her mated to Tyson several times. Both enjoyed this very much and hopefully the results we will all know more about within the next few days. We will keep you updated. Meanwhile we will update pages, so the time goes faster!!!!

Meanwhile we like to announce the titles our beautiful Melody and her daughter Ginger received on the ASVD show in Nürnberg last weekend. Thanks again to Jason and Julien without them we would have not been able to present these two dogs, because "Hundemama" was busy and could not make it to the show.

Angie is doing very well. She is getting very big. About two more weeks and Tyson puppies will be on their way.

We had beautiful weather today, so we made new pictures of Yanka, her brother Yakko, Tabaluga, Tyson, Olympia and Romy. We will put these pictures on our webpage in the next few days.

26th of January 2010 Today we have good news to announce. Romy is feeling much better. She is playing with her Dad Tyson again. In the next few days we will make a little video of her.
The dogs "Zeus" (Hera/Tabaluga), Yakko (Zaskia/Tabaluga) and his brother Yasso had been x-rayed for HD and ED. The results came back: Zeus HD-normal, ED-normal, Yakko: HD-fast normal, ED-normal, Yasso HD-normal, ED-normal. Congratulions to the owners and also to our family, because Yakko can "make" little puppies now. He past the breeding board and if everything goes well, soon there will be little Yakko-puppies running around. We will update our "upcoming litter-page" in the next few days.
Since Melody will be involved on this "upcoming litter- page" - for the last time before she retires -, we thought we make another movie, this time of a real "House-Barrett-family", Mom Melody, with Dad Tabaluga and the 7 months old daughter Ginger. Please, do enjoy this video.
22nd of January 2010 On this following video you can view Tyson, Nora and Indi (daughter of Buddy and Hera). Nora does not have her full coat at this time, because she just came in heat. But we thought, that you enjoy viewing these beautiful dogs anyway. They are so full of life. We should be like this.

7th of January 2010 Today was a very successful day for "House Barrett".
Our three progeny female-puppies, which we kept out of three different litters this past summer (llok at our page "our dogs"/young dogs"), had ben pre-x-rayed today and according to the Vet the hips look extremely good for their aige. We are so happy with the development of "Holly from House Barrett" (daughter of Zaskia and Vabi), "Ginger from House Barrett" (daughter of Melody and Tabaluga) and last but not least "Indi from House Barrett", daughter of Queeny and Buddy. Zaskia has been retired already, Melody will have her last litter this spring and Queeny will go out of our breeding program next year. We hope, that these three little females will go into their "Mom`s food steps" one of these days and will enrich our breeding program to keep these three good bloodlines going. We will keep you updated on our webpage on the development of these young females.
For Ulk`s owner this was his first trial, he had ever entered. The way he looks he will continue with training!

12th of August 2008 "Hundemama Dagmar" is back again. She spent a wonderful five days on the horse. A lot of pictures were made and in the next few days we will open up a new page of this trip.
Now the whole family is looking forward for the new Barrett-puppies to arrive. Meanwhile we will update our web page regularly with a lot of news and beautiful pictures of our dogs.
6th of August 2008 With this entry we like to announce, that "Hundemama" is going on a 6 day horse trail ride today. Therefor the reply to emails can take a few days longer as usual. Of course we will make pictures of our trail ride with the beautiful country view along the Bergstraße

Gustl received nice birthday wishes for his 12th birthday, which was yesterday. He spent the day with our puppies from the S-litter. As you can see, he does not look too happy, but the little puppies enjoyed being around him. They were looking for milk at times, unfortunately without success!!!!!
