Vacation on the Island St. Croix in October 2007

St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas are three Islands about 90 miles from Puerto Rico, also known as the Virgin Islands

The following pictures were taken during our vacation on St. Croix. Since almost 4 years Trier from House-Barrett is living on this island. Trier is a brother of Tysohn. Of course we visited him and his family.

St. Croix by the way is Arthur`s home. Some people know him already. He loves to take pictures. He took beautiful pictures of dogs during two shows this year. Also on this vacation his camera did not rest either. The outcome you see further below.

Dagmar and Arthur spent 14 beautiful days on St. Croix. Hundemama "Dagmar" did things, she had never experienced before, like Tarzan she was hanging of some wines out in the Rain Forest, she was swimming with a horse in the ocean, she was snorkeling and seen nice fishes. Together with Arthur she was exploring the 84 square miles big Island. The weather was beautiful. Sunshine from the morning at 6 until evening at 6.

For "Hundemama" it was the first time to be on this Island. After being here for 14 days now has the time come to fly back to Germany. She cannot wait to see her two- and four legged family again. Her children Jessica, Jennifer and Jason took care of the animals at home. Without their help she would not have been able to go on this vacation and other trips she went on in the past. Many thanks again to all of her children.

Now one of the highlights during this vacation

Hundemama is visiting one of her babies here on St. Croix. He was sent here when he was 8 weeks old. He is doing very well

Like most of the Barrett dogs love to do,

he loves to carry things in his mouth

Trier is a very good looking male, with very good body structure, a beautiful masculine head and deep red and black pigmentation

Last, put not least we would like to introduce the famous "Hook bracelet" of St. Croix, handcrafted made by Sonya.

40 years ago she designed this beautiful bracelet and since then different ones. People who have been to St. Croix know what Dagmar is talking about. The Hook bracelet belongs to St. Croix like the beer does to Germany. Dagmar is now also the owner of this nice piece of jewelry.
