My mother gave me my first German shepherd when I was
thirteen. The dog's name was Cora. She was a six-months old "short-hair."

Soon I started to train her at a nearby dog-training facility. One year later, Cora
and I successfully passed the SchH1 trial. Afterwards I started to train this dog at
our dog-place near by. One year later I was able to pass the trial SchH1.
Through training Cora, I learned how intelligent and easy
to train German shepherds are.
One day, I saw my first "long-hair," who was being trained at
our club. He was a big strong male with a great expression. I was fascinated by him
and made up my mind then and there that my next dog would be a "long hair"
German shepherd.
